CHEHALIS – The Lewis County coroner today confirmed the Onalaska man who was killed when his tractor landed on him is Harold T. Shelton.
The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office reported previously he was 63 years old. Coroner Warren McLeod indicates he was 62.
He is perhaps better known to many as Dr. Tim Shelton, owner of Chehalis Chiropractic Clinic on South Market Boulevard, according to an extended family member.
A sheriff’s deputy sent to check on him Tuesday when he hadn’t shown up to work on Friday or since then found him dead in a wooded area behind the residence at the 3500 block of state Route 508. His tractor had rolled over, according to the sheriff’s office.
Coroner McLeod confirmed the death was accidental and indicated Shelton died from blunt trauma to his head, neck and chest.

Heart broken to hear this news. I remember great childhood of my cousin. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
I miss Tim & the family.
Blessings*
Our hearts & prayers are with Tim’s family.
I have very loving memories of my cousin Tim.We spent a lot of time together as children, he was the big brother I never had. As adults we rarely saw each other, but I love him now as I loved him then. My deepest condolences to his children and family.
Tim was my favorite uncle. Some of my fondest childhood memories are of hanging out with him on the farm in Ohio, Mammoth Cave, and in Atlanta. He was such a great guy and a super cool uncle. My heart goes out to all of you. Good to talk to you Jesse. Take care of each other and so sorry for your loss.
This really sucks! Tim was a great guy. Does anyone know if his dogs are ok?
Thanks to all for your sympathies..
I’m so sorry, to hear of your lose, I’m sending my condolences, to the family
I think of that every time I drive one of my old tractors on even the slightest incline. The new tractors have ROP bars for very good reason. Thousands of tractor operators have been killed in rollovers. Unless these old tractors are always being used on flat terrain, they should be retrofitted with roll over protection bars. I haven’t done it because of the expense, but am reconsidering.
My deepest sympathies for his family He was such a wonderful person and looking forward to his retirement, such a tragedy He was a great chiropractor. He will be missed greatly by a lot of people who knew and loved him
Dr. Tim has been a kind and supportive friend to me and my family for many years. He will be missed very much. I am so saddened by this news. May peace be with his family.
